I don’t mean to be too critical here… but is this serious?

Why would anyone want to watch a show about sharing files? Not to mention that $100k is nowhere near enough to actually produce a show of quality, even the lowest budget TV shows cost nearly $100k per episode to produce.

I really think this would be a waste of money.

Honestly, im surprised kino just hasn’t deleted this yet as its so obvious its a troll its almost a spam post that’s acting like a grant request.

We review all grants equally, even if they appear to be “trolling”.
It would go against our code of conduct for me to be the sole arbiter of what is an appropriate grant.
If someone went through the process of filling out a grant proposal, except in extreme rule or law-breaking circumstances, we must review all grant submissions.

Thanks for your recent proposal to the Sia Foundation’s Grants Program. This request is ambitious but well outside of our wheelhouse, as well as not aligning with the mission of the Sia Foundation. The committee has voted to reject this proposal.

Thanks and best of luck.
